Follow this easy process:
We will be in touch with you after a short time with times for 'getting started' sessions.
2. Attend an orientation session to learn more about timebanking and how to start trading.
This is a one hour to become more familiar with this online software,
check our code of conduct, produce id and character referees, sign forms.
These are small informal groups where we can help in any way needed.
A one-off fee covers costs ($18.50 to $8.50 for individuals, $33.50 to $16.50 for families)
or an annual fee of $30 - $20 for organisations / groups.
You are given 2 hours time credits for attending this session to get help get started!
3. Login to Community Weaver
Fill out your online profile and add your photo.
List your Timebankers' Talents.
Post offers and requests.
Look at other members listings
(No personal information can be seen until your checks are completed)
4. We will notify you when your account is activated.
If your police check returns with a conviction disclosed, this information will be treated in the
strictest confidence and does not necessarily preclude you from becoming a member of TimeBank
Manawatu. The final decision lies with TimeBank Manawatu Trust.
Starting to use the TimeBank
Login to the Timebank and
Post some offers, skills, talents or services that you have to offer other members.
Post some requests, for services or skills that you are looking for.
Record any exchanges that you have made with other timebank members.
You can ask for help buy clicking on the envelope icon link and sending a message to your timebank's coordinators. See the icon at the top right of the home page.

Ongoing Use of the TimeBank
Don't hesitate to respond to an offer or request. This is exactly how new sharing and relationships are built to strengthen our community.
Please respond in a timely manner to calls or emails you receive from other members about the requests or offers you've posted.
Make specific arrangements for the exchange - date and time - after you've communicated with the member and determined that a service exchange is appropriate.
Record the exchange save a record of it in your hours account.
Keep checking offers and requests from other members.
Do this again and again to help keep our community alive and flourishing.
